Allister Roy Dallas, 74, peacefully passed away at home in Longview, WA. Born in Bend, OR to Jack Roy and Viola May (Ferguson) Dallas on June 30, 1947. He moved to Longview in 1966. During his life, he had made a living as a painter, cabinet maker and doing prefab assembly at Tolly Craft Yachts. He started working at Les Schwab Tires as an Automotive Technician, before moving to Bend, OR in 1995 to become their Corporate Training Specialist and Corporate Department Supervisor, retiring in 2017 after 34 years of service. He spent a brief time in Salem, OR before returning to Longview, WA.
On June 4, 1988, Allister married Edna Wiehn, a Longview native. He had been previously married to Ellenor McKee (1974) and Judy Kelly (1966).
He belonged to Sons of the American Legion, Post 44 Redmond, OR, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 3602 Ocean Park, WA and Kelso-Longview Elks, No. 1482.
Allister loved spending time with his family, especially time with his grandchildren. He loved God and embraced Jesus Christ as his savior. He enjoyed building street rods, going to car shows, cruise, fishing and clam digging. He, also, enjoyed time at his and Edna’s beach property.
He is survived by sons; Robert Dallas, Jeremy Payne (Sonseeahray daughter-in-law), Joshua Dallas & Jonathan Dallas (Karen daughter-in-law). Stepchildren; Deon Wiehn, and Shannon ( Jamy son-in-law)Gregory. Along with 18 grandchild and 7 great grand children.

Graveside service will be help Tuesday, 5/17/2022 at 2:00pm at Cowlitz View Memorial Gardens. There will be a gathering at the Elks in Kelso, Wa from 2:30 to 4:00pm.
