Beverly Jayne Boudreau, born on May 18, 1955, in Longview, Washington, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2025, at St. Johns Hospital, succumbing to complications from pneumonia and lung cancer. Her departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of her loved ones, but her rich legacy will continue to shine through the lives she touched.
Beverly grew up in Longview and graduated from Mark Morris High School in 1973. Known for her warm smile and ability to make friends with anyone she encountered, she leaves behind a tapestry of cherished memories shared with family, friends, neighbors, and even the staff of her favorite local diners. Her cheerful disposition and steadfast support brought comfort and joy to those around her.
She married her beloved husband, Rick Boudreau, and together they created a life filled with laughter and love. Beverly found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, often enjoyed while sharing a bite to eat with Rick or embarking on scenic drives. Her phone calls to family and friends, filled with love and laughter, were a testament to her commitment to connection and community. A true enthusiast of home makeover shows, Beverly became an avid watcher of HGTV, where her creative spirit flourished.
Family was undoubtedly Beverly's proudest accomplishment. She cherished every moment spent with her children, Miranda Boudreau and Brandon and Athena Boudreau, and was a devoted grandmother to her five grandchildren: Brooklyn, Spencer, Silas, Wyatt, and Knox Boudreau. The twinkle in her eye when speaking of her family and the joy she derived from watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Astor and Evelyn Boudreau, grow and thrive, encapsulated the essence of her love and dedication.
She is mourned not only by her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, but also by her siblings: Scott Dills, Randall Dills, and Cynthia Springer. In addition to her immediate family, Beverly is reunited in spirit with her mother, Evelyn Dills, her father, Halen Dills, and her sister, Janet Dills.
A Celebration of Life will take place on March 22, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Veterans of Foreign Wars located at 4311 Ocean Beach Highway, Longview, WA. This gathering will honor Beverly’s joyous spirit and provide a space for her family and friends to share stories, celebrate her life, and honor the remarkable woman she was.
Though Beverly may no longer walk among us, her legacy of love and kindness will echo in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will always be remembered, deeply missed, and cherished by her family and friends, who will carry her spirit forward in their own lives.
