Beverly Lee Pittman (nee Shill), 90, passed away on February 1, 2024, in Longview, WA. Born

on June 19, 1933, in Waterville, Kansas, Beverly, known to her loved ones as Anna, dedicated

her life to her family.

Beverly was a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished spending time with

her family. Her face would light up as she listened to their stories, always eager to hear about

their lives. She possessed a keen intellect and an observant nature, picking up an uncanny

understanding of golf, despite never playing. She also loved to watch baseball and follow the

Seattle Mariners seasons. Beverly was always there for others, offering help and advocating for

those in need. She devoted much of her time caring for her family, providing them with

unwavering support and opening her home to many throughout the years.

Beverly was an avid ceramicist, showcasing her amazing eye and skill with various mediums.

She found joy in creating beautiful pieces of art through her ceramics. Additionally, she had a

talent for comparing and researching items before making purchases, often relying on

Consumer Reports, demonstrating her meticulous nature.

She is survived by her sisters Phyllis Smith and Patricia Workman, along with her children Kathy

Tomsik, Mark Pittman, Penny Doumit, and Barb Thacker. Beverly also leaves behind five

grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James

Pittman, her sister Sharon Bauer and her parents Ethel and Glenn Conger.

A memorial service will be held in honor of Beverly at Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park

on Monday, February 12th, at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be

made to The Arc of Cowlitz County, a cause that was close to Beverly's heart.

The funeral arrangements are being handled by Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park in

Longview, WA.
