Charlene M. Wilson
March 27, 1949 – February 21, 2022
Charlene Margaret Wilson was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister,
and friend. She passed on February 21st , 2022 at home with her family by her side.
Charlene was born to Margaret (Peggy) and Charles Thomas on March 27th , 1949 in Pittsburgh, PA. They
moved to San Bernardino, CA where she was raised and graduated high school. Charlene met the love
of her life, Michael, who was stationed nearby in the Air Force and they wed on February 8, 1969.
Charlene and Mike moved their family to Vancouver, WA in 1970 where they raised their sons and
eventually retired.
Charlene had a compassionate fire about her; she was quick to say what she thought but always made
sure everyone knew how much she loved and cared about them. Her time with family was what
brought her the most joy! She also enjoyed bowling, clamming (although she wouldn’t eat them!), going
to the casino, and spending time with friends especially at their happy hour gatherings.
Charlene was preceded in death by both her parents and her husband, Michael Wilson Sr. She leaves
behind her three sons Michael Jr., Mark, Scott (daughter-in-law Kristen), her brother Doug, 14
grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and many lifelong friends.
There will be a celebration of life on Charlene’s birthday, March 27, 2022 at the home of her best friend,
