Charles Lee Boling was born at home in Charter Oak, CA on February 2, 1934 to Charles Everett Boling and Dorothy (Morgan) Boling. He was one of four children, his surviving brother Robert Reitz and his wife Julie live in Lewiston, ID, brother Joe and sister Virginia predeceased him.
He attended school in Paramount, CA and joined the Air Force in 1952. After 4 years of service he returned to Paramount and began working in construction, his lifetime work. He met his wife Judy in 1964 and after a 3 month courtship, they were married on September 19, 1964. They raised their 4 boys, Chuck (Maria), Peter (Jenny), Paul and Noah (Trish) in Bellflower, CA.
In 1990 chuck was ready to retire. After much thought he and Judy moved to Battle Ground, WA having loved the Pacific Northwest on vacations. For the next 30 years he did what he enjoyed, working part-time for the City of Battle Ground spending winters in 29 Palms, CA and watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren grow.
Charles passed away at home in Vancouver, WA on January 16, 2021. He is survived by his wife Judy, 4 sons and their wives, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
