Christina May McCoy, 42, of Longview passed away Aug. 14, 2021, at Providence Medical Center in Portland.
She was born May 30, 1979, in My Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Pasco, Wash., to Orville and Vicky (King) Lindsey. Christina graduated from Mark Morris High School in 1998, and earned an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Sumner College in Tigard, Ore.
Christina was a certified nurse’s assistant providing in-home care. She was a proud member of Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA), and a fan of the Green Bay Packers and Seahawks. Her favorite pastime was vacationing with family and friends. Christina was hard-headed but open-hearted.
She married Nathan McCoy in Longview June 22, 2013. He survives her at home. Also surviving are two sons, Devyn Lindsey (18) and Bryce McCoy (6), both of Longview; her father, Orville Lindsey of Kalama; two brothers, Raymond Lindsey of Kalama and Orville Don Lindsey of Longview; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service with viewing is planned for 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 27 at the Latter-day Saints Stake Center, 900 11th Ave., in Longview. Bishop Cory Larson will officiate. Burial will follow at Longview Memorial Park. Pallbearers include Devyn Lindsey, Orville Lindsey, Raymond Lindsey, Zack Seibert, Kevin Mitchell and Tony Pence.
Final arrangements are under the direction of Steele Chapel.
