Dale Keith Early, 74, of Longview, passed away Aug. 3, 2021, at home.
He was born Feb. 23, 1947, in Yakima, Wash., and lived in Seattle before moving to Longview. Dale served in the Marines during the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver and performed other miscellaneous jobs. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, outdoor activities, and family gatherings.
Dale is survived by a son, Brian Early of Longview; four siblings, Glen C. Early (Sandy) of Ocean Shores, Wash., Darcia Westlund (Roger) of Kelso, Carlene Ogetuga (Frank) of Lake Stevens, Wash., and Allen Woodworth of Everett, Wash.; an uncle, James Early (Rae) of Wenatchee, Wash.; an aunt, Cleo Ritchie of Harrah, Wash.; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Maxwell Smith; his father and stepmother, Max and Marilynn Early; and a brother, Randy K. Early.
A graveside service is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14 at Longview Memorial Park. Scott Olin will officiate, and Scott and Chris Westlund will lead the pallbearers.
