Daniel Comer, 79, of Kelso, passed away June 16, 2023.
He was born March 28, 1944, in Elkhart, Ind., to Richard and Norma (McCraner) Comer, and attended Sunnyslope High School in Phoenix, Ariz.
Dan was a construction electrician and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). He enjoyed camping, boating, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family and girlfriend Alice. He was always happy to help a friend and appreciated the same in others. Dan's generous, compassionate, and loving spirit will be missed by so many.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Jacquelyn (Lowery) Comer.
Dan is survived by his partner, caregiver, and love of his life Foong “Alice” Chan; a brother, Terry Comer of Atascadero, Calif.; a daughter, Christina (Comer) Martin of Flagstaff, Ariz., a son, Tracy Comer of Kelso; a son Stacy Comer of Kalama; a stepdaughter, Kim; and 10 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on July 17 at 10 a.m. at Steel Chapel.
Dahl-McVicker Funeral Home has been entrusted with final arrangements.
