Elizabeth Jane Maul

Elizabeth Jane Maul, 68 of Vancouver, Washington passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023 in her home she shared with her husband, Ivan J. Maul. Elizabeth who went by Jani was born September 27, 1954 in Mosier, Oregon. 

She moved to Portland, Oregon where she met and married Morris Nicklin. They lived in Portland, Oregon where they had two child children and later divorced. 

She then moved to Vancouver, WA where she met and later married Ivan Maul living with him in his family home until she passed away. 

Jani loved hobbies such thrift shopping, knitting, sewing, quilting, computer games, gambling, cooking and collecting things. 

She enjoyed her beer and cigarettes. If you know Grandma jani you know this to be true. 

She is survived by her children Ernie Nicklin, and Aaron Nicklin his wife Brandi Nicklin; granddaughters Breaonna Nicklin, Emily Nicklin, Anna Lewis, and Alexcia Knecht; Grandsons Steven Benz, Ethan Benz, Devin Nicklin, Austin Nicklin, Anthony Nicklin, Aiden Benz, and Zackary Nicklin; 11 great grandkids; and two sisters, Sandy McBride and Bonnie.

She will live on in the memories her family has of her. 

A celebration of her life was held Sept. 27. It would have been her 69^th birthday.
