On October 8,2024, Clara Gertrude Nichols (Morrow) passed away while surrounded by family and friends. She had reached the age of 101.

She had four children: Myrna McCartney, Duane (Dianne) Morrow, Dennis Morrow, and Ozzie (Marsha) Morrow. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren are: Dennis’s child is Niccole Weber and her son is Anthoney Morrow; Duane’s children are Arianna, Connor, and Geordi Morrow; Ozzie’s child is Rachel (Matt) Ellis and her children are Parker and Miller Ellis. 

Trude was born in Pierz, Minnesota and lived and worked on her parents’ farm for a number of years before moving out west. She had lived in the Rainier/Longview area for almost sixty years. At one time she had a job at St. Johns/Peacehealth, which she thoroughly enjoyed. 

She was married twice: William Travis Morrow and Art Nichols. They both predeceased her. 

She enjoyed traveling and being around her children and their friends. She was also a huge Trailblazer fan and would always try to watch them when they were on television. 

A service will be held at St. Rose Catholic church (2571 Nichols Blvd.) on Friday, November 15, 2024 at 11 am. The service will be followed immediately with a reception at the parish hall which is across the street from the church. We will continue to miss her. Ecc.3:1-8
