Gordon R. Reviea

March 15, 1954 — June 28, 2023

Gordon R. Reviea Sr., 69, of Kelso went home June 28, 2023, reuniting with the loved-ones who passed before him, surrounded by the loved-ones he leaves behind.

He was born March 15, 1954, in San Luis Obispo, Calif., and moved to the local area around the age of 10. He graduated from R.A. Long High School and had a 17 year career with Reynolds Aluminum before retiring as a driller and welder in the oil fields of Wyoming in 2017.

Gordon loved camping, especially in Sheridan, Wyo., fishing in Canada and getting lost in the mountains. He was happiest outdoors. He enjoyed building things and had a gift for creating new out of the old. Gordon was easy-going, gentle in nature and content, but wasn’t afraid to speak his mind.

On May 18, 1984, he married his best friend Cyndi Camp in Reno. She survives him at home. Also surviving are two children, Gordon Robert Reviea Jr., and Victoria Lynn (Reviea) LaDeane, both of Vancouver, Wash.; a stepson, Jeremy Hobbs of Lakeland, Fla.; four siblings, Walter Reviea and Michelle Reviea, both of Pasadena, Calif., Gerry Reviea of Boise, Idaho, and Scott Baker of Kelso; and five grandchildren.

Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas W. and Madaline A. (George) Reviea; and a brother, John Reviea.

At his request, no service will be held. Gordon will be laid to rest at Longview Memorial Park during a private family committal.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 3682, Seattle, WA 98124.

Final arrangements have been entrusted to Steele Chapel.
