Leo LeRoy Morgan, 88, of Kelso, Cowlitz, Washington, USA, passed away Oct. 25, 2023, in Longview, Wash. Leo was born Nov. 2, 1934, in Kelso, Wash., to Oliver Lincoln and Meva Elma (Silvola) Morgan. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and cousin.
Leo was a hardworking and skilled individual who dedicated his life to his family, career, and hobbies. He loved animals, tending his farm, and dancing with his wife and friends. Leo's passion for woodworking allowed him to create many beautiful things, showcasing his craftsmanship and talent.
In his early years, Leo served in the Navy from 1952-1955, proudly representing his country. He later pursued a career as a millwright for Weyerhaeuser, where he worked for over 35 years. Leo's dedication and expertise in his field earned him the respect of his colleagues. After retiring as a carpenter, he continued to contribute his carpentry skills, leaving a lasting impact on those around him.
Leo enjoyed riding his motorcycle with friends and family, embracing the freedom of the open road. His love for adventure and his passion for woodworking brought joy to his life and those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
No services are planned to commemorate Leo's life. However, in his memory, contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Cowlitz County Humane Society in Longview. The compassionate care they provide to animals reflects Leo's deep love for his own pets and his commitment to their well-being.
