Leonard E. “Leepy” Ramsdell, 73, of Kelso went to be with Jesus March 12, 2024.
He was born Oct. 5, 1950, in Longview, and was a lifelong local resident. He was preceded in death by his parents; his foster parents, Albert and Lauana Kell; four brothers, Gerald, Wayne, Jimmy, and Robert; four sisters, Elaine, Patty, Annetta, and Geraldine; and a daughter, Kristi.
He married his wife Linda in 1997. She survives him at home. Also surviving are a son, Tidas Ramsdell of Kelso; a daughter, Sherri Wrzeskinski; a stepdaughter, Karyn Foster; a stepson, Scott McGahuey; three sisters, Alta, Jeannie, and Toni; a brother, Floyd; 11 grandchildren; and three great-granddaughters. He will be dearly missed.
Leonard retired from Northwest Hardwoods. He enjoyed outdoor life and nature. Leonard was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing, camping, training dogs, woodworking, drawing, and spending time with his wife, family, and friends. Leonard was friendly, kind and outspoken. He liked to share stories of his adventures.
A celebration of Leonard’s life, including a potluck, is planned for 1 p.m. April 27 at Riverside Park, 1820 Westside Hwy, in Kelso.
