On Sunday May 16, 2021, Linda Marie Brock, age 65, died at her home in Vancouver,
Washington from Pancreatic cancer.
Linda was born in Vancouver, WA, September 10, 1955, to Guy and Betty (Fuller) Morris.
In 1958 the family moved to The Dalles, Oregon, where Linda graduated from The Dalles
High, Class of 1974. Three days after graduation, on May 26, 1974, she married her high
school sweetheart, Olin Burt Brock. The couple resided in Portland, Oregon, until 1977
when Olin entered the ministry as a Baptist Preacher. Together they served churches in
Klickitat, Washington; Altha, Florida; Portland, Oregon; and Vancouver, Washington.
Everywhere they went people appreciated Linda’s kindness and sense of humor.
Linda’s lifelong ambition was to be a mother. Her dream was realized with the birth of her
first son, Jonathan, followed by her second son, Joshua, and finally her daughter, Brittany.
Linda fully invested herself in her family. Her children, daughter’s-in-law, and
grandchildren, knew that she loved them very much and that each one was precious to her.
Linda was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Wakana Brock. She is survived by
her husband Olin, her parents, Guy and Betty Morris, her children and their spouses;
Jonathan (Paula), Joshua (Alexxa), and Brittany, three brothers; Terry (Dixie), Guy Dean
(Diane), and David, and five grandchildren; Donovan, Dallas, Justine, Vivienne, and Ivan.
Also numerous nieces and nephews.
Linda’s Memorial Service will take place at Trinity Baptist Church, 6700 MacArthur Blvd.
Vancouver, Washington, on May 31, 2021 at 11 o’clock am, followed by a pot-luck lunch.
Interment is at Northwood Park Cemetery, 16407 NE 15th Ave. Ridgefield, Washington.
The family suggests, in place of flowers, please make a donation to Trinity Baptist Church, or the American Cancer Society, or NAMI.
