Lisa Rae Penny

Lisa Rae Penny, 58, of Longview passed away Nov. 26, 2021, at home.

She was born July 27, 1963, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Donald Carmen and Betty Gordon. Lisa attended schools in Long Beach, Calif., and moved to Longview 30 years ago.

Penny served in the Washington National Guard, was a restaurant server, retail manager, construction laborer, flagger and a legal assistant. She was a member of Beta Sigma Fi, and president of the High Step Dance Academy Booster Club. She enjoyed camping, trips to the beach, long drives, and spending time with family. Penny was extremely giving and selfless. She was also outspoken, strong-willed, loyal, dedicated, patient, persistent and reliable.

She married Ron Penny in Longview on Feb. 5, 1984. He survives her. Also surviving are her father; a son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Samantha Penny; two granddaughters, Sara and Bailee Penny; a grandson, Eric Penny; and a great-granddaughter, Eliza Crespo.

Penny was preceded in death by her mother; and a daughter, Tiffany Penny.

A graveside service is planned for 10 a.m. Jan. 7, 2022, at Longview Memorial Park. Final arrangements were entrusted to Steele Chapel.
