Lucille Campbell

Lucy Campbell, 84, died quietly February 19 at home in Cogir Vancouver Senior Living Community following several years dementia.

She is survived locally by her husband John Patrick Campbell, daughter Kathryn Prager, granddaughter Palmer Prager and by her sister Dorothy Holt of Haysville, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by son David Campbell, her brother John Shastid, and her parents Arthur and Nalva Shastid.

She was born June 3, 1938 in Binger, OK. She was valedictorian of her Checotah, OK high school class and was a brilliant university student of Home Economics & Foods Chemistry with a near perfect straight "A" grade average. She was also a high school home economics teacher and full-time mother and homemaker.

Lucy and Pat were married for almost 63 years. They met at Oklahoma State University in 1958 and married August 8, 1960.
