Paulette Tilda Buttler, 78, of Longview passed away at home, peacefully in her sleep, Feb. 27, 2022.
She was born June 14, 1943, in Brighton, Colo., to Matt and Niva (Hawkins) Scroggins, and raised with 10 siblings. She attended Liberty High School in Brentwood, Calif., where she sang in the school choir.
On Oct. 21, 1960, she married Robert Buttler in Oakley, Calif. They moved to Longview in 1972.
Paulette was a homemaker who excelled in cooking southwestern dishes. She enjoyed many crafts, including jewelry and porcelain dolls. She loved to shop for antiques. Paulette was a member of New Life Fellowship. She was a kind woman of faith who cherished her family.
Paulette is survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert Buttler; two daughters, Rhonda and Susan Buttler; a grandson, Shawn Buttler; three great-grandchildren, David Beck, Bryce Buttler and Brieanna Buttler; a brother, Roland in Ocala, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and nine siblings.
Paulette will be laid to rest at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 15 at Longview Memorial Park.
