Rea (Reggie) England of Longview, Wash., passed away at home Sept. 2, 2021.
He was born March 7, 1954 in Chehalis, Wash. Rea and his family moved to California when he was a year old. He lived in various parts of Northern California for the following 20 years.
Rea moved back to Southwest Washington in his early twenties and carried on a family tradition of becoming a logger. Rea spent over 40 years dedicated to the logging industry. He semi-retired in 2020. The man that never stopped moving picked up a job with Wilcox & Flegel which he enjoyed until his final days.
Rea was an avid outdoorsman. He could catch a fish out of a mud puddle. He enjoyed a good game of pool and had a few championships under his belt. He was adventurous, a great storyteller, a tough lover and hardworking man. Many will miss his stories, his voice, and his physical presence.
Rea was welcomed to the sky by his parents, Jack England and Lois Mitchell; a daughter, Ashlee Rea Nicole England; two brothers, Jack and Haven England; a sister, Robina (Biscuit) Rodriguez; and a brother-in-law, Randy Munson.
Rea is survived by his wife, Michelle England; his son and best friend, Randy (Courtney) England; a sister, Robin Munson; a brother, Curt England; a nephew, Ted Keller; four stepchildren and their families, Brandy (Jud) Billing, Dustin Ward, Jordan Potter and Jennifer Herrman; four grandsons, Ryder and Rowan England, Cole Belanger (Ty England), and Noah Millikan; several stepgrandchildren; friends who were family, Nick and Neil Harty, and Zachary Fleet; and all the other Englands and Mitchells left standing. Rea also leaves Max, his favorite pup.
Rea's quote for life was "If nothing changes, nothing changes" let him leave that with you. Remember it...with life, with love, with the tide, with every single thing you do.
