Born Dec. 21, 1933, in Wadena, Minn., Roger went to be with the Lord March 24, 2024, at age 90, at his Rainier home, gone in the twinkle of an eye.

Roger served in the Army, and retired from Longview Fibre after 37 years at age 55. He went on to build two beautiful homes by cutting the trees down on his property, processed the lumber in his saw mill, and built the house on his own. Roger loved to stay busy. He was inventive, knowledgeable, wise, and active to his last day.

Roger was a snowbird, spending winters in Arizona. He loved fishing, golfing, camping, traveling, and spending time with family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marian (Baker) Milbradt; his parents, Gustav and Laura Milbradt; a son, Roger Milbradt Jr.; two brothers, Wayne and Earl Milbradt; and two sisters, Delores Crozier and Elverna Parkins.

He is survived by a daughter, Linda Ramsdell; two grandchildren, Karyn Foster and Scott McGahuey; 10 great-grandchildren, Tevan and Mariah Johnson, Breahna, Aysha, and Melody Foster, Kyla Mason, Avalyn, Trenton, Lucien McGahuey; and a great-great-granddaughter, Kinslee Bonnett; two brothers, Donald and Gerald Milbradt; and two sisters, Joann Evaheart and Bea Conroy.

Roger left a great legacy and memories for family. He will be missed. Rest in peace.

A celebration of Roger’s life is planned for 1 p.m. June 14 at Steele Chapel, 5050 Mt. Solo Road, in Longview.
