Roy Delton Peck, 80, of Kelso, passed away Feb. 3, 2021, at the Hospice Care Center.
He was born Dec. 8, 1940, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Fern A. (Ehlers) and Harold K. Peck. The family moved to Vancouver soon after and Roy attended Evergreen High School.
Roy was a field lead for a natural gas company. He retired in 2003 after 36 years of service. He was a member of the Elks and the American Legion, having served two years in the Air Force.
On April 1, 2014, he married Betty Arlene Tully. She survives him at home. Also surviving are nine children, Mike Peck of Washougal, Wash., Ronnie Miner, Donnie Miner, Janette Buck and Karen Wilson, all of Vancouver, Kenneth Miner of Ridgefield, Wash., Jimmy Miner in Florida, Donna Peck in Texas, and Jackie in Oklahoma; a brother, Gordon Peck of Battle Ground, Wash.; nine grandchildren, Michael, Lorelei, Robert, Blake, Alicia, Levi, Arika, Jennifer and Lacey; numerous great-grandchildren; and his dear friends, Sharon and Tom Harman of Longview and Pat Peterson of Kalama.
Roy will be laid to rest at Willamette National Cemetery.
Final arrangements have been entrusted to Dahl-McVicker Funeral Home.
